Compassionate Release Motions are not just for COVID-19. While our client was incarcerated in the Bureau of Prisons, he learned that he developed a chronic heart condition, thyroid tumors, and a mass behind his eye. The Bureau refused to provide treatment, preventing our client from even getting a biopsy for months after the mass was discovered. His heart conditions were ignored entirely. In his Opinion Granting Compassionate Release, Judge Berg released our client so that he could promptly and properly address his significant health conditions, which likely saved his life.
